Four hundred HomeSafe friends and supporters rocked the house on January 24 at the agency’s 23rd Annual Classic Rock & Roll Party hosted at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

The high-energy evening was led by celebrity host Nicko McBrain, and featured an encore performance by Mike DelGuidice, nationally renowned vocalist and full-time touring member of Billy Joel’s band. The evening was co-chaired by long-time HomeSafe supporters Steve Bernstein and his daughter, Abby Bernstein-Henderson. Their leadership helped make the night another record-breaking success with $775,000 net for agency programs.

A meaningful highlight of the evening was the presentation of the HomeSafe Hero Award to board member Rob Vargas, for having gone above and beyond over the last 16 years, to help improve lives for victims of child abuse and domestic violence. Additionally, nine HomeSafe team members, including CEO, Matthew Ladika, were recognized for their 20 or more years of service at the agency. The recognition underscored HomeSafe’s deep commitment to its staff, those who show up every day to guide children and families through some of life’s most difficult moments.

The money raised through the Classic Rock & Roll Party ensures that HomeSafe can continue delivering life-changing care and stability to children, teens and families who need it most. We are immensely grateful to our guests, sponsors and underwriters for their generosity. We look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s Classic on January 30, 2027.
