COVID-19 Impact Update

Message from CEO Matt Ladika – April 3, 2020

To HomeSafe Friends and Supporters –

As we closely monitor the local impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, the health and safety of our program participants and staff remains our top priority. We are taking every precaution recommended by healthcare experts. We are evaluating our programs and procedures to ensure that they follow the CDC guidelines and will continue to review and adapt our processes as the situation evolves.

At this time, our primary concern is for the safety and well-being of the 40 children and 9 young adults living in our facilities, as well the health of the staff who care for them. While there is still much we do not know, we anticipate an increased need for personnel and resources to support the physical and educational needs of the children, ages 7-17, who live in our group homes.

Thank you to those community members who have already reached out to HomeSafe to offer their support. For others wishing to make a contribution to HomeSafe during this extraordinary time, please consider a monetary contribution through our website.
