Authorization of Gift of Securities 

You can authorize your bank or broker to transfer a specific number of shares of your securities to HomeSafe.

Please send HomeSafe a copy of the authorization, as gifts of stock are transferred anonymously.

If you prefer to donate stock certificates via mail, please:

  • Use certified or registered mail, without any endorsement, assignment or other notations, to: HomeSafe Foundation
  • Enclose a letter stating the purpose of the gift
  • In a separate envelope, mail a security power endorsed only (only provide your signature and leave everything else blank). Your name should appear exactly as it does on the face of the certificate(s). If possible, include a copy of the letter you sent with your actual certificates in separate mail
