HomeSafe Announces New Employees

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (March 30, 2012) – HomeSafe, a non-profit organization helping victims of child abuse and domestic violence in Palm Beach County and South Florida, announced the addition of four employees at its Simon C. Fireman Foundation campus in Lake Worth. 

The new employees include:

Kim Luchina, office coordinator for HomeSafe’s Healthy Beginnings program, coordinates office services and related activities for the program’s four locations, as well as provides administrative support to the program’s director.  She previously served as associate branch manager for the YMCA of the Palm Beaches.  Luchina earned associate’s degrees in early childhood education and elementary education from Palm Beach State College.  Selected by the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, HomeSafe is the exclusive entry agency (serving newborns through five-year-olds and their parents) for the Healthy Beginnings program.

Glenn Mueller, grant writer, is responsible for the research, development and ongoing coordination of grants.  Mueller came to HomeSafe from eDiets.com where he was the senior writer/editor.  He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Lynn University, master’s degree in mass communication from the University of Florida and bachelor’s in literature from New College of Florida.

Kehan Rahming, program supervisor, manages one of HomeSafe’s five residential group care homes overseeing a staff of ten and eight child clients.  Rahming most recently worked as an independent living specialist/life coach at Vita Nova.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in educational studies from Quincy University.

Tahlia Vera, front desk coordinator, provides overall administrative support to the Lake Worth office.  Vera was most recently employed at Boulevard Rehabilitation Center as a receptionist.
