HomeSafe has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced COMMUNITY OUTREACH MANAGER in our HEALTHLY BEGINNINGS program. Supervised by the Chief Program Officer – Prevention Services, and working in close collaboration with the Marketing Department of the Children’s Service Council and other Healthy Beginnings partners, the Community Outreach Manager is responsible for the development, establishment and implementation of marketing strategies to promote HomeSafe and the Healthy Beginnings system of care. The Community Outreach Manager is responsible for managing all functions of the Outreach Program, including the Outreach Educators and coordinating outreach events with Children’s Services Council and other Healthy Beginnings agencies. This position requires flexibility with daytime and evening hours as needed.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Education, Social Services or related field. Master’s Degree strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree must have eight (8) years of experience in public education and/or marketing. Master’s degree must have five (5) years of experience in public education and/or marketing. A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is required. Experience in the non-profit industry preferred. A valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable insured vehicle required. Excellent Marketing, Public Relations and social media strategies. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills. Able to demonstrate creativity and initiative. Knowledge of PBC Community Resources for children and families. Able to establish and maintain positive, collaborative, interpersonal and interagency relationships.
