Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the System Navigator is responsible for contacting and communicating with clients in need of health and financial resources. This position works in collaboration with county service providers (i.e., health department, Medicaid office) to assist clients in securing needed services. The System Navigator effectively promotes program goals and communicates accurate information about the Healthy Beginnings program. This position will provide services in assigned field location(s) and may require scheduling flexibility in order to accommodate client schedules.
Qualifications: A High school diploma/GED is required. An Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 1 year experience in social services and community resources environment working with families. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate with individuals of different cultures. Knowledge of Palm Beach County health and financial community resources. Experience with home visiting and knowledge of HBDS preferred. A valid insurable Florida driver’s license is required. BILINGUAL REQUIRED (SPANISH / ENGLISH OR CREOLE/ENGLISH).
