Job Description: The OUTREACH EDUCATOR is responsible for building and managing relationships with child care providers and other potential sources of referrals within Palm Beach County by completing developmental screens and referrals to qualified children. The Outreach Educator is also responsible for helping the Associate Director of Outreach and Marketing with the development, establishment and implementation of marketing strategies to promote HomeSafe and the Healthy Beginnings system of care. This position is supervised and will work in close collaboration with the Associate Director of Outreach and Marketing to promote the Healthy Beginnings system and the Entry Agency to the community.
Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services (preferably in a field such as social work, developmental psychology, and/or early childhood education). A minimum of 2 years in child welfare, primary prevention services, child development or related field. Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record. Bilingual English/CREOLE or English/SPANISH required.
