PBC Union aids HomeSafe

Boca Raton, Fla. (October 24, 2012) – During a check presentation
ceremony today at its headquarters, PBC Credit Union (PBCCU) announced
it raised $635 for HomeSafe, a non-profit organization helping victims
of child abuse and domestic violence in Palm Beach County and South
Florida.

The fundraising campaign, led by a group of dedicated PBCCU employees,
raised funds for HomeSafe through the generosity of employees and credit
union members. PBCCU employees spearheading the fundraising effort were
Sandra Enrique, Patricia Gelsinan, Lucie Ihle, Barbara Lozoski, Ted
Meredith, Felipe Restrepo and Minire Syla.

The money will support HomeSafe’s SafetyNet domestic violence program,
which serves victims of domestic violence and their children in Palm
Beach County.

“In celebration of International Credit Union Day, credit unions
worldwide hosted various events. At PBCCU, we chose to practice the
credit union philosophy of “people helping people” by giving back to the
community and are glad HomeSafe was chosen as one of seven deserving
charities our employees and members supported,” said Shannon Duran,
PBCCU’s Chief Operating Officer.

“We’re pleased to have the support of the employees and members of PBC
Credit Union,” said Matthew Ladika, HomeSafe CEO. “This contribution
will enable us to serve many people in need of our help to break free
from violent and unhealthy domestic relationships.”

PBC Credit Union is open to anyone living or working in Palm Beach or
St. Lucie Counties. PBC Credit Union (PBCCU) is a full-service
financial institution headquartered in West Palm Beach, with locations

its members, with a board of directors and other volunteer committees
chosen and staffed by members. For more information about PBC Credit
