Ways to Give

There are so many ways you can help HomeSafe stay on the front line of providing healing services to abused and neglected children.

Your donation to HomeSafe can be tailored to fit your financial needs, lifestyle, and personal goals.

How you can support HomeSafe’s children and families

Cash Donation

Your one-time donation to HomeSafe is essential in providing vulnerable children and families with the day-to-day services that HomeSafe offers.

Recurring Donation

Show your support for the work HomeSafe is doing across our community by making a recurring monthly donation in support of one of HomeSafe’s programs.

Gifts of Stock

A gift of appreciated stocks, bonds, or other securities is an easy way to bolster HomeSafe’s work in the community while also receiving tax advantages. When donating a long-term security, you can receive a charitable deduction for the fair market value on the date the gift was made and avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciation.

For stock transfer instructions, please contact Laura Barker at (561) 383-9829.

Qualified Charitable Distribution

If you are 70 ½ or older, satisfy your IRA’s required minimum distribution by donating directly from your IRA to HomeSafe (up to $105,000) and avoid paying income tax on the gift. A gift from your IRA is a way to help HomeSafe’s current programs while also immediately receiving tax benefits.

Contact Laura Barker if you are interested in making a donation through your IRA.

Endowment Gifts

Not only does an endowment gift help provide for the sustainability of HomeSafe, but it also serves as a permanent recognition of a donor’s dedication to helping their community and serving those in need. Donors who make an endowment gift of $100,000 or more have the option to create their own named endowment.

If you are interested in establishing an endowment with HomeSafe or supporting an existing endowment, please contact Laura Barker at (561) 383-9829.

Planned Gifts

Show your dedication to HomeSafe’s mission by making a planned gift to HomeSafe that will allow you to invest in HomeSafe’s future while also receiving potential tax benefits. Donors who make a planned gift through their long-term financial or estate plans will also be recognized in HomeSafe’s Legacy Society.

Contact Laura Barker to learn more about making a planned gift to HomeSafe.
