Volunteer at HomeSafe
Our SafetyNet program often has a need for volunteers to babysit children while their family members participate in group therapy. For the protection of our residents, volunteer opportunities are not available in any of our group homes.
Volunteers for the SafetyNet program must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to volunteering one night every week. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing childcare and engaging in play and/or educational activities with children 0-5 years of age
- Helping to prepare and serve a meal to the children and teens in the SafetyNet program prior to group therapy.
Volunteers are needed from 6 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at our Lake Worth Campus.
All candidates must complete an application and undergo a background screening before being approved to volunteer at HomeSafe.
