HomeSafe Programs

At HomeSafe, we are creating safer, more productive lives for infants, children, young adults and families. We provide comprehensive programs preventing new cases of violence, protecting victims of child abuse and domestic violence, and preparing children, young adults and families for safer, more productive lives. We do this through four main programs:

Healthy Beginnings

Selected by the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County (CSC), HomeSafe is the exclusive entry agency for children from birth through five years of age and their families to the Healthy Beginnings program. HomeSafe is responsible for screening and assessing children for developmental delays and mothers for postpartum depression, referring all at-risk individuals to appropriate services.

Residential Group Care

Our residential foster group home program provides intensive therapy to boys and girls ages 8 to 17 who are victims of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, and abandonment. Our five group homes serve a total of 48 at-risk children, providing a solid framework of healthy daily living and therapeutic services to treat their trauma. Our goal is to maximize their strengths and reduce behavioral problems, while teaching life skills for long-term success in life.

SafetyNet

Our domestic violence program provides immediate intervention and prevention services to victims of domestic violence and their children. SafetyNet helps victims take control of their lives by providing an array of intensive services, crisis intervention and individual and group therapy. The program works to help break the generational cycle of abuse.

HomeSafe at Pond Place

HomeSafe at Pond Place is our first independent living housing program for young adults who have “aged out” of foster care and are in need of safe and affordable housing. Clients can be between the ages of 18 and 23, must be enrolled in high school, vocational school or college, and follow the rules set by HomeSafe to live in one of the available one-bedroom/one-bath furnished apartments.

HomeSafe complies with all state and federal laws regarding non-discrimination.
